An audition is your opportunity to play a role, no matter what the outcome--you want to have fun doing the thing that you’ll be spending the majority of your career doing!
I help you find the way to tell the story in your unique voice. NOTHING is more interesting than you being you, giving yourself to whatever the given circumstances of a particular scene or role require. And you want to treat every audition as an opportunity to show your unique stamp on that role!
I coach for film, television, and theatre, either in person or over Zoom. I am excellent at coaching within the confines of that box we call the self-tape. My clients call it my superpower. I can do the recording for you, as well as the editing, in the comfort of my home studio on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, with my state-of-the-art equipment (although an iPhone and a lav mic are more than sufficient for your self-tapes, as long as the lighting is good), or I can work with you from a computer while you are in the comfort of your own self-taping setup, wherever you are in the world. I’ve recorded clients from their dressing room on Broadway, from vacation in Thailand, as well as from their childhood bedroom in the middle of Michigan.

Acting Class
I have an in-person Acting for the Camera/Audition Technique class once a week for 10-week sessions throughout the year. If you are out there auditioning this is a great opportunity to hone your skills and if you are uncomfortable on camera or don't know what you need to do to work believably on camera, this class gives you the tools. This is a great opportunity to grow as an actor and be as ready as possible for work when auditions come your way. We work on all of the various types of auditions that will come your way, and I tailor the class to each actor. Class size is limited so you work every week.

Industry Workshops
Throughout the year I offer both Legit and Commercial Workshops, where we find the "perfect" copy or sides for you to use to meet industry professionals. I bring casting directors, agents, and managers to your last class and you audition and meet with them. Many students have found their reps this way. These workshops are held on Zoom, as that is how the industry folks like to hold their meetings, so you can participate in one of these workshops from anywhere in the world.
